About Healthsoft
Healthsoft is a smart healthcare company. We make connected devices and a monitoring platform that keep seniors safe, independent and connected with their families. Our products focus on fall detection, medication management and continuous health monitoring.
Our devices are designed primarily for seniors living independently in India, especially those with limited mobility, multiple medications or heart conditions. They are equally valuable for NRI families who want real-time visibility into a parent’s wellbeing from abroad.
No. Every device arrives pre-configured, so there is nothing to assemble or program. Our team sets everything up at the senior’s home, free of charge, and stays until it is working. Step-by-step setup videos are there if you ever need to redo anything.
The Guardians App is simple to use and free to download on Google Play and the App Store.
Yes. We deliver pan-India, and home setup by our team is free. Devices come pre-configured, so setup is quick.
The wearable devices run on their own internal batteries, so power cuts do not affect them. The Keeper pill dispenser has a removable backup battery designed for India’s power supply conditions.
The Guard Rail
Personal safety pendant
The Guard Rail is a personal safety pendant worn around the neck or wrist. Its main job is automatic fall detection: it raises the alarm on its own, without anyone pressing a button. It also provides live GPS tracking, geo-fence alerts that help families of seniors with dementia or a tendency to wander, no-motion (welfare check) alarms, an SOS button and two-way calling.
The Guard Rail uses a built-in motion and vibration sensor to recognise the signature of a fall: a sudden acceleration followed by an impact. When it detects a fall, it triggers an alarm automatically and notifies the family and our care team. The senior does not need to press anything.
Yes. The Guard Rail is rated IP68, so it is protected against immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes. It is safe to wear in the shower and in the rain. It is not rated for swimming or diving.
Yes. Outdoors it uses GPS and GLONASS. Indoors it switches to WiFi or Bluetooth beacon positioning. When it is connected to the senior’s home WiFi, The Guardians App shows the senior as “At Home”.
With location updates every 10 minutes, the battery lasts about 3–4 days on 4G or 4–5 days on 2G. In standby mode it can last up to 15 days. We recommend charging it nightly, like a phone.
Yes. The device needs a nano SIM card for 4G/2G connectivity. Healthsoft provides the SIM as part of the service plan, so you do not need to arrange one separately.
No. The Guard Rail is a personal safety device: it handles SOS, fall detection, location and two-way calling. Heart rate, ECG and health monitoring are provided by The Health Guard, our ECG bracelet.
The Health Guard
ECG & health monitoring bracelet
The Health Guard provides continuous medical-grade ECG monitoring, heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), body temperature, heart rate variability (HRV), stress levels, sleep stages (light, deep and REM) and daily activity (steps, calories and distance).
An ECG (electrocardiogram) records the electrical activity of the heart. A single-lead ECG on a wearable can detect irregular heart rhythms such as atrial fibrillation (AFib), a major risk factor for stroke. Early detection lets families and doctors act before a serious event.
The Guard Rail focuses on safety: SOS, fall detection, GPS and two-way calling. The Health Guard focuses on health monitoring: ECG, heart rate, SpO2, temperature and sleep. They serve different needs and can be used together for complete protection.
Yes. The Health Guard is rated IP68. It can be fully submerged in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes, so it is safe for showers, hand washing and rain.
Up to 7 days per charge, so there is no need to charge it every day. Actual battery life depends on how often you set the band to sync and transfer data: more frequent syncing means more frequent charging.
Yes. Every reading syncs to The Guardians App, where family members can view daily, weekly and monthly health trends for their loved one.
The Keeper
Smart pill dispenser
The Keeper is an automatic pill dispenser with a rotating 28-slot tray, one dose per slot. At each scheduled time, the tray rotates to the correct slot, the lid opens, and a voice alert plays with a flashing LED to prompt the senior to take their dose.
The tray has 28 slots, one dose per slot, so it depends on the schedule. At two doses a day a full tray lasts 14 days; at three doses a day, about 9 days.
If the medication is not taken out within the alert window, the dispenser sends a missed-dose notification to The Guardians App so a caregiver can follow up straight away.
Yes, it is locked. The Keeper has a tamper-resistant metal lock that prevents accidental or intentional access to upcoming doses. Only the correct slot opens at the correct time, which prevents double-dosing.
Yes. The Keeper runs on a DC mains adapter and includes a removable backup battery, so it keeps working through India’s frequent power cuts.
Yes. With The Guardians App (free on Google Play and the App Store), family members can set, edit or pause the medication schedule from anywhere in the world. The app also shows a 14-day medication adherence history.
No. The Keeper connects over WiFi only (802.11 b/g/n/ac, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), so no SIM card is needed.
Platform, App & Monitoring
The Guardians App and Care Command Centre
The Guardians App is Healthsoft’s companion app for families, free to download on Google Play and the App Store. It is the central hub for families. It shows real-time location, health readings, device status and alert history, and lets you manage medication schedules and geo-fence zones remotely.
Several family members can share access to the same senior’s profile. This is especially useful for NRI families, where siblings in different countries all need visibility.
The Care Command Centre (CC) is our in-house monitoring team, staffed around the clock. When an SOS is raised from the pendant or the app, or a fall or no-motion alarm is triggered, the alert lands with our CC team and is addressed immediately. Once we confirm an emergency, your family is notified and the ambulance protocol is raised in the same moment, and we keep you updated live from there.
Separately, for ongoing wellbeing signals such as repeated missed doses or irregular vitals, our team reviews the pattern and follows up where it is warranted, with the senior’s and family’s permission.
The Guard Rail sends an instant alert with live location to our Care Command Centre and The Guardians App at the same time. Our care team addresses it immediately, reaching the senior through the device’s two-way audio to assess the situation.
The moment the emergency is confirmed, or if the senior cannot be reached, your family and the senior’s emergency contacts are notified and the ambulance protocol is raised together. From confirmation, you hear from us in under 2 minutes, with live updates until help arrives. Every incident is logged to the health history.
You receive push notifications when the SOS button is pressed, a fall is detected, the senior leaves a safe zone (geo-fence breach), a no-motion alarm is raised, a medication dose is missed, a device battery runs low, or a device is switched on or off.
Yes. The app works in any country with internet access, so NRI families anywhere in the world can follow their parent in real time.
