Chairman
Anand is a technical entrepreneur who qualified as mechanical engineer and followed it up with a management degree.
He started his career with Sartorious India, a German multinational, designing, manufacturing and marketing products and systems in the field of separation technology, weighing technology and hydrodynamic bearings. He then had a stint with Briggs Equipment, specialists in the manufacture of stainless steel processes equipment for the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, brewery & distillery industries.
Anand turned an entrepreneur, buoyed by his success as an employee controlling an entire region for two big companies. He ventured into the chemical process equipment manufacturing line first and later set foot into the medical transcription field, which was at a very nascent stage in India at that time. He thus became one of the pioneers in the field, and is today, a well respected figure in the transcription industry with over a decade of experience. He has established a wholly-owned subsidiary named “Kaycees Healthsoft USA LLC” in Texas USA, in order to direct market with hospitals and clinics in the U.S. The group has also taken over a transcription company based in Kansas to spread its presence across the U.S.
Under his leadership, Healthsoft is now taking giant steps towards forward integration, foraying into areas like medical insurance, medical billing, and also software development for the transcription industry. By way of diversification, the group is also entering other promising and lucrative areas like legal process outsourcing, legal compliance, and outsourcing consumer durables maintenance.
Anand Kumar holds a master of sciences in industrial engineering from the University of Toledo, USA. He has spearheaded the conceptualization, development and launch of offshoring services worldwide for several Fortune 100 companies. He also has extensive experience in international joint ventures, technology transfer and implementation, strategic alliances and other business partnerships. Combining this experience with his expertise in strategic planning, P&L management, business development and technology makes Anand a go-to guy for business development and resource management.
He is also an active mentor at the CIO Association of India, a member-driven, national, non-profit organization serving CIOs and Heads of IT in India.
His previous stints include founding an employment ecosystem integrator product firm and specializing in technology development/commercialization, business process reengineering. Before that he was a CIO and regional lead for South Asia for the Monsanto Corporation, USA for 7 years.
K. Suryanarayanan worked with one of the leading nationalized banks for over two decades where he headed branches with more than 40 staff members and also achieved targets in respect of deposits, advances and recovery. He also joined an NBFC with total assets of over Rs.400 crores as Asst. Vice President and rose to the position of Director in the Board of the company, in a short span of five years. There he controlled the corporate finance, administration and retail lending portfolios. He has also worked as the Director of Finance with a Chemical manufacturing and trading company managing the entire finance functions of the group. He joined the Healthsoft group in 2004 and has been with us since.
Ramanujam Varadachari holds a master’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras. His previous stints include his work as a corporate loan officer of an international bank in India for over 25 years from 1971. During this term he conducted the thorough audit of the Hong Kong and Singapore branches of the bank. He has worked in mortgage loan processing with a US bank for a year and was also into marketing healthcare related services for a span of 3 years. He was the corporate finance executive for 8 years in a private sector oil and gas company based in India managing projects and funds in the Middle East countries.
Currently, he represents an international offshore drilling company based out of Texas, USA and manages their operations in Venezuela, Brazil, Port of Spain and West Africa. Having traveled wide for business negotiations and project management in different areas including banking and finance, he is an excellent communicator with a sound network of contacts.
